OnePlus is all set to unveil the OnePlus 2 to the world on July 28 at 7.30AM. And today seems to be the day where OnePlus is inching closer to the big day. The OnePlus VR headset is finally available on Amazon India. OnePlus is conducting a unique virtual reality event, and has created its own custom Cardboard VR for the big unveiling event.
The VR headset is priced at Rs 99 per piece (shipping cost will be additional) and will be given away to select few early backers for free of cost. OnePlus hasn’t yet revealed the stock availability of these headsets, but we expect them to be limited.
The company is revealing specification details of the upcoming flagship bit by bit to keep the buzz going. So far, the company has confirmed that the OnePlus 2 will have an improved version of the Snapdragon 810 processor, USB Type C port,a physical home button with a fingerprint sensor, a 3,300mAh battery, faster LTE, dual-SIM and that the smartphone will cost between $320-$450.
YouTuber Marques Brownlee revealed that the OnePlus 2 will have a 13-megapixel rear camera with laser autofocus and f/2.0 aperture. It has different shooting modes like clear shot, beauty and HDR mode and is capable of taking 4K videos.
Furthermore, rumors suggest that the OnePlus 2 may sport a slimmer full metal body. It is likely to feature a 5.5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display. Leaked sketches hint at a possible dual-camera setup at the back, and a Bluetooth certification filing claims that the OnePlus 2 could be available in three variants.
